Okemo Valley Golf Club (formerly Fox Run Golf Course), located just six miles from Hawk, has been recently transformed into a spectacular 18-hole, 6,400 yard, par-71 championship golf facility. This exciting, new golf complex is also home to the Okemo Valley Golf Academy, a state-of-the-art golf learning school that includes a Golf Training Center and full-length driving range and practice area with target greens.

The character of the new Okemo Valley Golf Club course layout is unique, as it encompasses classic bent grass fairways, tees and greens and features a variety of rolling hills, moderate elevation changes and one of the most distinctive island greens in the Northeastbacked up with amenities and services unmatched by any other facility. The Golf Training Center is open year-round and includes indoor practice greens, hitting areas as well as "Reality Golf," with which golf enthusiasts can play six of North America''s greatest golf courses without leaving the clubhouse. Even in the wintertime, after a day of skiing and riding at Okemo Mountain, sports enthusiasts can hone-up on their golf skills in the evening. Okemo Valley Golf Club is under the direction of Jim Remy, General Manager/Director of Golf. The course designer was Vermont native Steve Durkee, who uses the best of the Green Mountain State''s natural elements to shape and design championship courses.
