Our restaurant is tied for top honors in all Vermont. Dining is at intimate, private, candlelit tables. Many of our offerings are locally grown or produced. Our goat cheese is made nearby. In season, our wild mushrooms arrive just-picked from the forest floor. Herbs and edible flowers come from our own gardens. Local lamb and game birds comprise saucy entrees.

Our cuisine is Contemporary American. Seafood and vegetables are in plentiful supply, brought to their height of delicate flavor by deftly seasoned sauces. Vegetarian or other special dining needs are delightfully accommodated.

For light appetites, we have a Tavern Menu.

If you are visiting during a peak period (weekends/holidays and all nights of the week in August, September, October ), we recommend you make your dinner reservations at least two weeks in advance for a good choice of seating times. Note that November through July our dining room is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
