Originally designed by William H. Tucker in 1895, this challenging 18-hole, par 69 course was re-designed by Robert Trent Jones in 1961, retaining only the 5th hole from its previous layout. The Kedron Brook provides water hazards on 12 holes, and the more than 80 white sand bunkers in the shadows of Mt. Peg make for some tricky play. The signature hole of this relatively flat and narrow course is #4, a 403-yard, par 4, rated as the most difficult hole in the state by Vermont Magazine. Every three years, the club plays host to the State Amateur Tournament. The clubhouse offers a restaurant and full bar, along with a large pro-shop and golf school. And for warming-up, there is a sand and chipping area, putting green and driving range.
